Michelle Bonneau, IWEN's Nepal Director, is presently living in Kathmandu doing volunteer work in teaching and counseling. Besides her volunteer work, Michelle's attention is focused on securing educational scholarships for females. Her enthusiasm is contagious and her heart wishes that money grew on trees as there are so many deserving girls, teens and women that are crying out for the opportunity to go to school. Proper English education in Nepal is a privilege that is affordable only to the rich who can pay for private instruction.
Michelle often sends off to family and friends her insights about IWEN's developing work in Nepal as well as her sometimes funny or weird Nepali experiences. If you wish to receive any of these “News Flashes” or more appropriately named “Michelle's Ramblings” sign up using the link provided.
