Purpose and Goals

• Mission Statement:  IWEN promotes the advancement of education for female children, young adults and women living in poverty, primarily outside Canada.
• The Goals of the Society were developed in accordance with the Mission Statement, which read as follows:
• Advancement of knowledge in a particular education field or educational level
• Advancement of life skills in order to work effectively
• Advancement of abilities and talents in a particular field of work and/or training in a trade.

• In the end it is only through education that personal freedom is gained and ignorance vanquished.
