#1 SHE CREATES: A personal development and leadership course FOR TEEN GIRLS

Building on the She Creates workshops and leadership courses used in Nepal, Her International is bringing innovative and hands-on personal development to adolescent girls in Canada.

The skills practiced in the course will connect each girl with the skills she needs to be a leader in her own life and plan for a bright and successful future.

This program will be offered online to girls across Canada in January 2023. To learn more, visit SHE CREATES APPLY.

#2 H.O.P.E. in Her Eyes

Her International partnered with HOPE Outreach in Kelowna, BC to raise awareness, funding and hope for marginalized women in both Canada and Nepal.

This sold out event offered attendees eye-gazing, art auctions, and stories of bravery and courage as women rise from marginalized positions and succeed in thriving.

The benefit raised over $41,000 to support women locally and globally with 50% of the proceeds staying in Canada and 50% going to Nepal.

#3 EMPOWER HER:

Adolescent girls workshop

‘Empower Her’ with one-day workshops that incorporate global awareness and leadership skills along with confidence building activities like mindfulness and self-defence.

The workshops are designed to connect and empower girls right here in Canada.

#4 Mentor training program (Okanagan)

Our pilot program of Mentor the Mentors partnered with Karis Support Society. This mentor training course helped to train volunteers who would like to work with at-risk women.

Mentoring provides women and girls who are in a difficult place in their lives with someone to help them through the struggles they are facing and guide them towards a hopeful future. The training will teach participants to deliver personalized, effective care while maintaining safe boundaries.
